If you remember, about midway it looked something like this...

I did it!

(The lid is still kind of bowing).
While I'm glad it all worked out, which means a greater chance it will all fit into the trailer to AZ. I'm a little sad to pack up my sewing stuff for the move. And while it would really only mean a whole week without sewing, I kind of know that I probably won't be sewing for longer than that since I'm due shortly after arriving in Arizona.
Oh well, I'm glad I met a goal.
Here are some of the most recent projects that got some of the material out of the tote...
Project 1: Baby Sadie's Baby Blessing Dress

Little Flowers I added to it.

Thankfully for YouTube, I was able to learn how to make buttonholes and how to understitch. It felt good to learn some new things.

(You can tell it's totally not lined up on the seam between the bodice and the skirt but oh well, what can you do?)
Diaper Cover for the Dress

Project 2:Toy Bags for the Kids while we travel.

I really like Novalee's. It's fuzzy inside. :)

After finishing the bags for the kids, Wes suggested I make a toy bag for the dog too, so we could put all her things in it. Luckily I had some dog fabric left over from something else.

Project 3: Just some more PJs for Jared

I guess all that is left is to start packing...
That is awesome. I love seeing your craft projects. It gets me excited to do some myself. I can't wait to see pics of little Sadie on here when she comes. We will miss seeing you guys and will look forward to when you come back :) See you on Tuesday.
ReplyDeletelove the sewing projects. Hey, so we are moving into your ward, or should I say your old ward. When do you head out? Are we going to see you before you go?
ReplyDeleteNo, we leave tomorrow. :( We are going to miss both of your great families. Keep Beaver Creek cool for us. :)
