Pie Crusts

You might not think this is that interesting or you might know this trick already but I just figured it out and so I'm rather excited about it!

So sometimes my pie crusts are awesome and sometimes they just crumble all over the place. I'm kind of lazy and really don't like making more crust so I usually desperately try and piece the crust together before I make a different crust.

The other day, my pie crust was super crumbly and after making the first (bottom) crust I really didn't want to have a super sloppy looking crust for the top.

All of a sudden it occurred to me that Crisco is like butter. So I put my crust dough, rolled into a ball, into the microwave for about 15 seconds.

And it came out so smooth! Just wanted to share. :)
