Gratitude (Day 13)

Day 13-

I belong to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. We have a large number of members, more than 13 million, all over the world.

So naturally we can't all meet in the same location and in the same building.

So the members are collected into smaller groups throughout the world based on location. These smaller groups are called wards or branches.

Our family goes to the Forest Grove 2nd ward.

Today I'm grateful for our ward. We are relatively new to the ward since we just moved into the area about 4 months ago and we really don't know many people but I'm grateful for the kindness everyone in the ward has shown us.

I love seeing everyone's smiling faces and hearing their stories and testimonies.

Really it seems no matter where we've moved all the wards we've been to share those same characteristics; smiles, kindness and people making an effort to make you feel welcome.

So I'm grateful for our ward for that and I'm just grateful to be a member of this great church.
